I am a firm believer that art has the power to change the world and I hope to be at the forefront of that change. At a young age, I was exposed to the incredible power that art has in regards to making a difference. I experienced first hand what art can do in my life and the lives of others. I make the active choice to be an artist every day because I simply cannot conceive a better way to create change than to create art, nor could I possibly do anything else.

I am passionate about creating and cultivating work that analyzes the past in relation to our day to day lives as well as our future. I am constantly asking the questions: where do we go from here? How do we repair? What does this mean for us? What’s next? How can we move forward? I strive to make audiences think and question their independent role in why we are where we are, and what to do about. They say your past will always catch up to you, it is just a matter of when.

I am dedicated to using art as a tool for healing in the lives of those who need it. I am studying to become a licensed creative arts therapist with plans of becoming a Drama Therapist. I am a student in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies Department specializing in Traumatized Neuropsychology at New York University. I hope to work with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma by creating a personalized road to recovery, focused primarily on an independent healing process. I believe at the core that art can change the world in the most impactful ways and am devoted to sharing this gift to others.
